When I adopted my Bichon Frise from the ASPCA four years ago he was a troubled little fellow. His owner had lost her home, so they had been living on the streets of Manhattan. My dog was a nervous wreck and a compulsive alarm barker. He even barked at the garbage bags out on the street at night. It was difficult living with him in the house and walking him outside in public.
A friend referred me to a dog intuitive that came to my house and worked with my dog for about an hour. I was disappointed that she really couldn’t give me any information about his past or his issues, but she did work clearing the house, the yard and some negative energy coming from a neighbor’s house. After she was done, my little guy hadn’t changed much. That’s when I tried Flower Oils. These seemed to calm him down, but you have to be consistent with putting them on your dog’s paws or in the drinking water. The very best technique I’ve tried is changing my energy around the dog. I really try to give a sense of calmness and security and this seems to have helped the most. I will consistently give him some nice dog massages on his back and belly. I put my fingers in the shape of a prong, and I massage in small circles down his back. My dog rolls around on the floor snorting in glee. I reassure my dog that he is loved and that I will never leave him and he will never lose his home. Now, four years later this is a different dog.
We just introduced Healing Pet Stones to our site, RapunzelGifts.com. These stones attach to your dog’s collar and give the same healing properties to dogs that humans get from using them. I’ve added these to the site because I really believe in the power of working with crystals and stones. I have a slew of them I keep on my desk and some I carry in my purse, so they are always at hand. These doggie aids come to us from Sonia Alexandra , an expert in working with the healing stones. Any time you work with stones for yourself or any pet, it’s recommended that you clear them first. Here’s some advice from Sonia:
To cleanse and clear the stones of negative energy wash the stones with hot water and anti-bacterial soap during your final rinse sprinkle a recommended that once a month you recharge the stones by leaving them in sunlight moonlight, out during a thunderstorm or smudging them with incense.
