The silver charms on this necklace are handcrafted by the Karen Hill Tribes people of Thailand. Proceeds from Karen Hill jewelry go back into the community to support the village families through the Karen Artisan and Family Aid Program (KAFA). The program aims to help build confidence in each family's working habitat, particularly in the younger generation. Each Karen family create a particular line of products, so each family has their own unique signature line and you are getting a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.
